About Me

Tyler McManus has served the software development industry for more than seven years, most of that being web development starting with ColdFusion 4.5 in 2000, following the growth of the product through to the recently released ColdFusion 8. He’s a strong advocate for web standards, and is always seeking to broaden and refine his skills in the programming arena. He recently began attending a local ColdFusion user group, and is also cutting his teeth in the Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP arena by night, loving every bit of it.

By day, Tyler is employed with a small web solutions firm near Sacramento, wherein his bread-and-butter are web-based applications using the CF / SQL / CSS / JS (AJAX, DOM, DHTML) model, primarily tailored for the automotive industry.

He lives with his wife and two children, all currently in the process of living happily ever after.
